Dear Reader,

Welcome to Digital Agora’s privacy notice! If you made it so far, it really means you care not only about the content, but also what happens to your personal data.

Your data will be used because either you subscribed to Digital Agora or you shared personal data while interacting via DMs, comments, likes or any other formats the Substack platform allows.

Like any other Substack authors, when you subscribe, I’ll be able to see your Substack username, email address, frequency of your activity on Digital Agora (rating from 1 to 5) and your date of subscription. This is a default setting by Substack and this is a feature offered to all authors on the platforms to follow the performance of their articles over time, or to assess revenue streams over time. Your email address is also necessary to deliver content to you after you subscribed.

Subscription is only possible based on your active consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time, although I’d be happy to hear your feedback before doing so.

I will not share your personal data with anyone, but be aware that Substack has its own privacy policy beyond my control. The same applies if you are a European user in terms of data transfers to the US.

Your data will be stored as long as you wish to continue your subscription on Digital Agora.

You have the right to:

  • access,

  • remove,

  • correct,

  • restrict the processing of your data,

  • request data portability,

  • withdraw your consent,

  • to lodge a complaint at the data protection authority of your residence.

You can contact the author at any time if you have any questions:
